If you work with video long enough I can guarantee there will come a time when you will want to Have your video Autoplay!

For example, I do alot of PPC (pay per click) advertising and many times I have videos in my ads, and when someone clicks on my ad I want the video to start playing automatically, instead of making the person click to play the video. This is a simple marketing strategy to make certain you get your message out, because there are people that simply won’t click on your video to make it play.

What I am going to do next is demonstrate “HOW TO AUTOPLAY A YOUTUBE VIDEO” via screen capture, and you can see just how simple it is to do.

Also before you watch the video I just want to let you know that if you ever have any questions for me, simply click on the big blue button on the right side of my blog that says “Got Questions Ask Me”, I will be glad to answer any of your questions!

Have you ever had an instance where you wish you had some knowledge of HTML?

Well, I have had many instances where It would have been very beneficial to at least have a basic understanding about how HTML works. So I decided to educate myself and get a better understanding of HTML.

For most people, including myself the thought of Learning HTML is a very intimidating idea! I finally mustered up the courage to learn THE BASICS, and discovered that it really isn’t all that difficult.

What HTML stands for is (Hyper Text Markup Language). HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language. A markup language is a set of tags and HTML uses markup tags to describe webpages.

>HTML tags are keywords surrounded by angle brackets like <html>

>HTML tags normally come in pairs like <b> and </b>.

>The first tag in a pair is the start tag, the second tag is the end tag

>Start and end tags are also called opening tags and closing tags

The purpose of a web browser (like Internet Explorer or Firefox) is to read HTML documents and display them as web pages. The browser does not display the HTML tags, but uses the tags to interpret the content of the page.

Now all this is probably starting to sound a little confusing, not to mention boring, so what I am going to do is show you via screencapture exactly what I’m talking about.

Also, when you are finished watching the video, if you have any questions, simply go over on the right side of my blog and you will see a big button that says “Got Questions Ask Me”, just click there and send me your question and I will be glad to answer it!

How would you like to learn how you can make your own Lead capture pages absolutely FREE! Not only that you can make these Capture Pages right from the comfort of your own WordPress blog!

I have made my own FREE Capture Pages and used them in my PPC (pay per click) campaigns, and I have found them to be very effective in capturing leads! And lets face it that’s what we all want in the home business industry is more leads.

Now there are plug-ins out there that you can install and they are very effective also, but they take a little more technical know-how and they usually cost money. I actually did a blogpost titled “How To Make Your Own Lead Capture Page” 12, July 2010 which featured one of these Capture Page plug-ins.

The beauty of making your own FREE Capture Pages is just that, they are FREE, and they don’t require much if any technical know-how to make them.

All you need to make your own FREE Capture Pages is a wordpress blog, and an autoresponder account.

So why not expand your marketing efforts and create your own FREE Capture Pages!

What I am going to do next is show you via screencapture video just how simple it is to do.

Also, when you are finished watching the video, if you have any questions, simply go over on the right side of my blog and you will see a big button that says “Got Questions Ask Me”, just click there and send me your question and I will be glad to answer it!

Well, you could bookmark the site, or you could save it to your favorites. But there is a more organized way to save sites that you like and want to return to.

You can create an account with GOOGLE READER at (www.google.com/reader), It’s FREE , and it’s very simple to set up! GOOGLE READER helps you find and keep track of stuff on the web through their RSS FEEDS. RSS stands for (Real Simple Syndication). You can subscribe to your favorite websites, see what your friends are sharing, and keep up with what’s popular. New content comes to your GOOGLE READER when it’s posted, so you don’t need to visit individual sites. Plus GOOGLE READER keeps track of items you’ve read, so you only see unread items when you come back. If there’s a dark blue border around an item, GOOGLE READER is marking that item as read.

I am going to show you via a screencapture video just how easy it is to set up your own GOOGLE READER account. And once you set up your account go ahead and test it by subscribing to my website josephmcdevitt.com

Apparently these thieves have discovered a way to alter your Affiliate Link so that your commissions are credited to their account.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I put alot of effort into marketing my Affiliate products and I sure don’t want to risk losing my commissions.

Now, there is a way to remedy this by doing what is called domain masking. What this means is that your Affiliate Link will be masked as a different url in the address bar, thus thwarting the would be thieves from stealing your hard earned commissions.

I discovered a cool little tool that will allow you to mask your Affiliate Links and at the same time shorten the links as well. And it’s not that difficult to do! Here is the link for that tool. (webstarthelp.com/forwards.html)

This tool is used in conjunction with your website hosting account.

I am going to show you via a screencapture video demonstration how to mask your Affiliate Links.

My website is hosted by Hostgator.com so this demonstration will be most helpful to those of you who have your websites hosted by them as well. However if your website is hosted by Go-Daddy, or some other company, the process is very similar but you will have to contact the technical support people at your hosting account for detailed instructions.

Watch the video below.

How would you like to make your very own Professional Lead Capture Pages?

I have always wanted to expand my marketing efforts for my pay per click campaign. I always felt sort of limited when advertising because all I had was one Capture Page to use for my advertising campaign. And not only that, it can get quite expensive when you have to pay someone else to build one for you!

Well, I discovered a plugin for WordPress that allows me to build my very own Lead Capture Pages. And it’s as easy as writing a blogpost!

This plugin gives you several different templates to choose from, and allows you to customize your page. For example you can change the background colors, you can change the font, you can add images to the background, you can add videos, And all this can be done with a click of the mouse! So trust me when I tell you that if you can write a blogpost, then you will be able to use this plugin to build your very own Lead Capture Pages!

In order to use this plugin, you will need a WordPress blog, and an autoresponder account.

Now, I always try to provide nothing but value to my readers, which is usually free, and hopefully useful information. That is why I wrestled with writing this blogpost, but I thought it was such a great value, and such a great tool, I wanted to share it with you. So I must tell you that this Plugin does cost, however it is dirt cheap, and it is worth 10 times what you will have to pay for it! Not only that, once you purchase this little gold nugget you will receive an affiliate link (60% commission) so that you can share it with your downline, your friends, or whoever you think might benefit from it.

What I am going to do is show you via a screencapture video how easy it is to use! And I will leave a link for the plugin so you can take a look at it and see for yourself how affordable this plugin really is!

Also, when you are finished watching the video, if you have any questions, simply go over on the right side of my blog and you will see a big button that says “Got Questions Ask Me”, just click there and send me your question and I will be glad to answer it!

One last thing before you watch the video. I want to mention that adding this little inexpensive plugin to my WordPress blog, has really enhanced my marketing efforts, and has totally changed the game for me in terms of getting new leads. And this is why I highly recommend that you take a serious look!

Watch the video below

Well, when I first saw one I liked it so much I just had to have one on my blog. So I went ahead and installed one.

This Widget is actually installed through Facebook and it’s relatively easy to install.

Once it is installed your blog visitors can click on the button at the bottom of the Widget thats titled “Follow this blog”. I want to point out however that after you click on “follow this blog” you must be patient because it takes a while before your picture shows up in the widget. It might take as long as 1 to 2 hours. So be patient my friends!

I want to personally invite you to “follow my blog” and I will reciprocate and visit your blog and follow yours.

What I am going to do next is show you via screen capture video how easy it is to install the Networked Blog Widget.
