Have you ever had an instance when you wanted a YouTube Video to automatically play when someone clicked on your page?

If you work with video long enough I can guarantee there will come a time when you will want to Have your video Autoplay!

For example, I do alot of PPC (pay per click) advertising and many times I have videos in my ads, and when someone clicks on my ad I want the video to start playing automatically, instead of making the person click to play the video. This is a simple marketing strategy to make certain you get your message out, because there are people that simply won’t click on your video to make it play.

What I am going to do next is demonstrate “HOW TO AUTOPLAY A YOUTUBE VIDEO” via screen capture, and you can see just how simple it is to do.

Have you ever had an instance where you wish you had some knowledge of HTML?

Well, I have had many instances where It would have been very beneficial to at least have a basic understanding about how HTML works. So I decided to educate myself and get a better understanding of HTML.

For most people, including myself the thought of  Learning HTML is a very intimidating idea! I finally mustered up the courage to learn THE BASICS, and discovered that it really isn’t  all that difficult.

What HTML stands for is (Hyper Text Markup Language). HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language. A markup language is a set of tags and HTML uses markup tags to describe webpages.

>HTML tags are keywords surrounded by angle brackets like <html>

>HTML tags normally come in pairs like <b> and </b>.

>The first tag in a pair is the start tag, the second tag is the end tag

>Start and end tags are also called opening tags and closing tags

The purpose of a web browser (like Internet Explorer or Firefox) is to read HTML documents and display them as web pages. The browser does not display the HTML tags, but uses the tags to interpret the content of the page.

Now all this is probably starting to sound a little confusing, not to mention boring, so what I am going to do is show you via screencapture exactly what I’m talking about.

Have you ever found a great article in a blog on the internet and thought to yourself, wow I’ll have to remember this site and come back to learn more?

Well, you could bookmark the site, or you could save it to your favorites. But there is a more organized way to save sites that you like and want to return to.

You can create an account with GOOGLE READER at (www.google.com/reader), It’s FREE , and it’s very simple to set up! GOOGLE READER helps you find and keep track of stuff on the web through their RSS FEEDS.  RSS stands for (Real Simple Syndication). You can subscribe to your favorite websites, see what your friends are sharing, and keep up with what’s popular. New content comes to your GOOGLE READER when it’s posted, so you don’t need to visit individual sites. Plus GOOGLE READER keeps track of items you’ve read, so you only see unread items when you come back. If there’s a dark blue border around an item, GOOGLE READER is marking that item as read.

Did you know there are people out there that will steal your Affiliate commissions, And you probably won’t even know they took your money!

Apparently these thieves have discovered a way to alter your Affiliate Link so that your commissions are credited to their account.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I put alot of effort into marketing my Affiliate products and I sure don’t want to risk losing my commissions.

Now, there is a way to remedy this by doing what is called domain masking. What this means is that your Affiliate Link will be masked as a different url in the address bar, thus thwarting the would be thieves from stealing your hard earned commissions.

I discovered a cool little tool that will allow you to mask your Affiliate Links and at the same time shorten the links as well. And it’s not that difficult to do!  Here is the link for that tool.  (webstarthelp.com/forwards.html)

This tool is used in conjunction with your website hosting account.

I am going to show you via a screencapture video demonstration  how to mask your Affiliate Links.

My website is hosted by Hostgator.com so this demonstration will be most helpful to those of you who have your websites hosted by them as well. However if your website is hosted by Go-Daddy, or some other company, the process is very similar but you will have to contact the technical support people at your hosting account for detailed instructions.

Well here we go again, another “How to” Post.  I really enjoy learning new things and sharing the information on my blog. Therefore you will find that alot of my blogposts that are “How To”.

The whole process of installing an Opt-In form is rather simple, and you can install one yourself. All you need is a Facebook account and an autoresponder account. In fact your autoresponder account is where you will make the form that will be installed on your Facebook Profile page. Have you ever seen one of those cool little boxes on other blogs that are titled “Networked Blogs” and they have a follow this blog button on them?

Well, when I first saw one I liked it so much I just had to have one on my blog. So I went ahead and installed one.

This Widget is actually installed through Facebook and it’s relatively easy to install.

Once it is installed your blog visitors can click on the button at the bottom of the Widget thats titled “Follow this blog”. I want to point out however that after you click on “follow this blog” you must be patient because it takes a while before your picture shows up in the widget. It might take as long as 1 to 2 hours. So be patient my friends!

I want to personally invite you to “follow my blog” and I will reciprocate and visit your blog and follow yours.

Do you get sick and tired of  following people on Twitter only to find that they don’t follow you back!

I mean, to me it is just a common courtesy that if someone follows me I follow them back.

I”m sure there are some people that don’t do it intentionally, but there are probably some that do. I’m not quite sure why they purposely would not want to follow back. Perhaps it’s an ego thing, maybe it makes them feel popular or something by having more followers then they are following. Whatever the reason is “I don’t like it”.

If this behavior bothers you like it does me, I have discovered a really cool and easy way to remedy the problem, and I want to share it with you.

There is a really cool website called “Tweepi” and it allows you to clean up your Twitter account from spammers and deadbeat users, as well as make sure you follow tweeps who deserve to be followed.  The website address is tweepi.com. Make sure you have a look around there website to see all  they have to offer.

I am going to show you via a screen capture how to do what” Tweepi ” calls “Geeky Flush”.  This is a really fast, and easy way to “Flush” People who won’t follow you back!

Have You ever seen those cool little Google Friend Connect boxes on other blogs?

Well the first time I saw one I wanted to put one on my blog, so that’s exactly what I did.

So if you want to put one on your blog, I am going to show you how!

First I want to tell you that I am going to give you a brief description of what you need to do, and the I will include a link that will give you a video tutorial that will make it very easy to follow along.

First you will have to set up an account with Google Friend Connect at www.google.com/friendconnect.

Then you  will have to upload the Google Friend Connect plugin in your admin. panel of your WordPress blog.

Now comes the video tutorial that’s explains how to do it.
